Well, here it is. The Adoption Board. Here, you can...
- Adopt another character.
- Abandon a character.
- Find your character which has been moved here because of your inactivity.
Now with that list out of the way, let's talk about those subjects in that order.
If you want to adopt a character, the first step is to make sure that there is a character available to adopt. If there isn't, you'll have to wait until a character becomes available for adoption.
But for the sake of the rules, let's pretend that there is a character up for adoption! Oh, look! Mary-Sue Love is up for adoption. Doesn't she look like a nice girl to role-play? So, let's say you want to adopt Mary-Sue. After reading over her completely filled out application, you decide that Mary-Sue is the character for you. To adopt her, you simply fill out the following form, and post it under the 'Pending-Adoptions' board. Isn't that easy?

Tired of this one character? Or do you simply not have enough time to role-play with him/her? You can abandon that character here, with little work. Simply fill out this application below, and an admin will move your character's application to the adoption center board, and you won't have to worry about them again!

If you go inactive for over two months, without leaving a notice in the vacation board-- or mentioning it to a staff-member-- your account will be deleted. This keeps the site from cluttering up. A copy of your different character's application(s) will be moved to the Adoption Center suboard, and will be up for grabs by any member.
However, if you return and wish to reclaim your character-- you will have to either show the person an official copy-right claim, or ask them politely for your character back. By leaving the site for the extended period of time, you agreed to give up claims to any characters you left behind-- so anyone can call dibs on your character. This excludes staff accounts. If a staff member gives their character up for adoption, the account will be stripped of admin powers before being given up.
