"I just don't understand how someone could not want to use their powers." Kayne said as he walked into the training room. "It just baffles me, why not want to use the thing that makes you superior to those dirty humans?" The boy shook his head. It was sick.
The boy walked over to the punching bags. "It's like they want to be treated like they are a human. Just the thought of that...it's disgusting." The boy pulled his shirt from over head and threw it on the ground. "Why would someone want to be treated like that scum?" He asked himself as he threw his first few punches at the bag. ""It infuriates me. The students here should want to rid the world of humans, that's the only option." Kayne kept throwing anger filled punches at the bag. "Well, if they want to be treated the same...then they shall die the same way...by my hands." He said with a twisted, malicious smirk. "They'll all die."

Darryl Markswell being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn
Looking incredibly out of place in his Italian loafers and sport coat, Darryl Markswell walks into the training hall. Not that he was going to train, of course-- he'd had years to perfect his skill, to make it where he can hear what people are thinking like flipping a switch. Nope, not training at all. The headmaster's merely walking his school, making sure everything's in tip-top condition, nothing broken or misplaced.
And then he hears the sound of fists slamming into a punching bag. At least, he hopes it's a punching bag. He wouldn't put it above some of the older, more malicious students to use one of the youngsters to train.
Rounding the corner, he's relieved to see that it's only one of the seniors throwing punches at a bag. And… Talking to himself? The last thing Markswell heard before he just had to walk over was 'by my hands, they'll all die.' No self-respecting headmaster could leave that alone!
"Mister DeRemiro, kindly explain what you mean by, they'll die by your hands?"

Kayne quickly spun around. "What?" He asked giving the headmaster a glare. 'Great. It's the biggest human sympathizer around.' "It was nothing Markswell, just talking to my punching bag of course. May I ask why I am honored with the presence of the esteemed Headmaster? Aren't there young minds that should be molded with your views?" Kayne said with a scoff. "Or do I get more word of your vision about humans and mutants living together?" He said rolling his eyes.
Kayne turned back to the punching bag, landing a few more hits. "You're insane by the way." He said still looking at the bag. "There is no way that a human and a mutant can live in peace. We are better. We are dominant. We deserve to survive. They do not." He said, anger fueling his voice.

He decides to ignore the part about him being insane (though it is true, just not for the reason Kayne's thinking of). Instead, he's going to focus on the part about superiority.
"Oh, come now, Mister DeRemiro. You can't honestly tell me that there was no one you ever loved that didn't have any sort of special ability, whether it was your mother, your father, or even a elementary school crush. It's not possible to survive without the 'normals', as you kids are so keen on calling them. They most certainly have the will to survive that meets, if not surpasses, ours. Just look at all we, as a race, have done to make our lives so much easier-- the internet, airplanes, gas stoves, indoor plumbing, heated water! We've domesticated the dog, made beautiful art from only crushed flowers and canvas. And you say that if one does not have a power, they are unfit? No, certainly not!
"Think of people like Adolf Hitler, Chairman Mao, Josef Stalin, Osama bin Laden. They carried out exactly what you're proposing-- mass genocide."

"Love?" Kayne asked, spinning back around. "You're going to try to talk to me about love?" The boy laughed in the headmasters face. "You're more of an idiot than I previously thought. Love is nothing. It makes you weak, lessens your senses. I have loved no person. You say my mother. Ha. Meet the woman tell me how much you love her. No, she's just as worthless as all the other humans. You talk all the time about peace, and love, and kindness. That's bullshit. You're weak as well. Kindness gets you no where but trampled on. And you're right about those guys, Hitler and Bin Laden. Mass genocide. That's exactly what we need to shake this place up. To show humans where they stand! We let them live! They should fear us, but no, you want us to live beside them happily ever after. Again I say it. Bullshit. Markswell you'll remember me and so will this damn planet. You'll see what Im actually capable of. All of humanity will." Kayne said with a snarl as he pulled a few marbles out of his pocket. The boy threw them in the air, levitating for a second before each one of them turned into shards. "You'll see." The glass then shot into the numerous punching bags around both of them.

"Touchy…" he mutters under his breath, ignoring the shards of glass. For a man with a power so useless in combat, he's surprisingly level headed in the face of danger.
"There were so many people who did good in the world too though. Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King. They opened their hearts to the goodness in mankind, and look how much they've achieved! You don't need to kill to prove a point. If you can learn to love, you can do anything you want."
And, because he's not a stupid person, he knows that his little speech isn't going to change Kayne's mind. So, he switches tactics.
"Why are you here, anyway? If you don't like me and my teachings, then why are you still here at my school? You're eighteen, aren't you? By law, you can do whatever you want-- short of murder, of course. Legally, your parents can't force you to stay here."

"What Markswell? Wanna kick me out? Don't want me to ruin your pretty little schools name? Oh when I get out of here I'll make sure everyone knows that the great Markswell Academy housed Kayne DeRemiro! You'll be famous Darryl, I know you love the spotlight so you don't mind do you?" Kayne asked with a loud laugh. "And your little Freedom boy? He's pathetic. I'll be doing what he couldn't. I'll be the one that changes the world for the better and if any human or mutant doesn't like that fact than they can sure enough try and stop me. I'll find the most powerful mutants who understand what I'm trying to create. A perfect world without useless mutes or pathetic humans. Survival if the fittest Markswell, haven't you ever heard of it?" Kayne glared at the man. There was no respect for him. He couldn't stand his views and he knew for a fact Markswell didn't like his own. "Radicals change things, pacifists don't. Remember that." The boy said as he extended his hand to his side. The glass flew from out of the bags and melded back into it's original form landing in Kaynes hand.

((OOC: I'm so protective of my chars )) Darryl Markswell being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn
Oh, now that's just low. Completely below the belt.
His voice drops to a steely pitch, and his eyes narrow to slits. "The last I heard from Rick, he was doing a hell of a lot better than you are. He has friends. A family. He's working toward something he believes in, without killing innocent bystanders (most of the time). He broke out the MCA. Twice. I would really get a kick out of it if you even tried that. That boy lived on his own, on the streets, when he was six. You'd never last a day without your daddy's money."
"Pacifists don't change things, huh? Martin Luther King Jr. The Bloodless Revolution."

"You make me laugh Markswell. Not because you're funny, because you're just sad. You haven't a clue what I can or cannot do. If I didn't have my fathers money? So what. I'd make some on my own. I'm capable of doing anything I need to do, one of which is cleansing the earth of all the dirt and scum. It's my job to do that Darryl, don't you see that? Can't you see that I'm the one that was chosen to do it? I'll do what Rick can't. I have no sympathy for anyone. I'll do what has to be done." The boy said as his brows narrowed. "And anyone, let me repeat myself so you understand, anyone who gets in my way will suffer the consequences." The boy said as he turned from the man starting to walk off. "I promise you that Darryl, and I always keep my promises."

He laughs, long and loud. Kayne DeRemiro, make his own money? Please. The boy hasn't had to work for anything. Ever.
"So you're the 'chosen one', huh?" he says, once he's down laughing. "Should I bow down to the chosen one? Would the chosen one like to be fanned with palm leaves while being fed peeled grapes?"
It's not like he hasn't heard the whole Chosen One speech before-- so many of his students had been stricken with a modified form of Jerusalem Syndrome that's it's become comical. None of the self-titled Chosen Ones had ever managed to do anything big. Most of them ended up working for the MCA, which bothers Markswell a bit, but it's not his job to make the kids see things his way-- it's his job to teach. And teach he will!

"Yeah." Kayne said sarcastically. "You should get down on your knees right now and beg for your life to be sparred. Maybe if you do it now I'll take it into consideration in the future." He said with a malicious grin. "But no, I don't expect you to do anything of the sort because you know everything. Don't you Darryl? You know exactly what we should do to win this war. Oh wait, you don't even think it's a war do you! It's just a big misunderstanding between species huh? Ridiculous." Kayne said with a mocking laugh. "You're just a old man who doesn't understand what is happening and what needs to be done. That's why I am here. To do what you cant! Don't you understand Markswell?"
Kayne then opened the door to exit the training room. "Darryl, Darryl, Darryl. One day everything I said will become a reality, whether you like it or not." He then walked out of the room and away from the headmaster. "I swear it. One day it will happen."

"I'd really like to see that happen, Kayne." he says softly as the boy walks away. Not the killing countless people just because they don't have special powers, but having the 'mutants' finally regarded as equal in the eyes of the people.
They've always been the underdogs of society, the ones blamed when anything goes wrong. And with the government these days, everything goes wrong. Economic crises, wars, housing shortages, famine… They always find a way to pin it on the different ones, the ones who can do something else.
"I really would."
