General Appearance: Therese embodies the image of the mad scientist- short, curly, springy brawn hair dominates her head no matter what she tries to do with it. Her big green eyes are often bloodshot from lack of sleep, increasing the size of the bags under her short lashes. Her nose is wide at the bridge, giving the impression that she is sniffing in perpetual disgust. Dimples add to the abundance of creases in the middle-aged woman's face, framing thin, serious lips.
Her dress is haphazard, to say the least- a lab coat is the only thing that's ever consistent about her dress. She often shows up in the laboratory in pajama pants and a tank top, and in one notable incident, bunny slippers. Obscure band tees that nobody, not even Therese has heard of make appearances, as do faded, patched overalls and hospital scrubs.

General Personality: Sick. Twisted. Lunatic. Madder than a hatter at a crackpot convention. All of these words and phrases have been used to describe Therese behind her back, though nothing other than Boss is used in her presence. And each of those descriptions is right. Therese has become a monster of her own sort, completely different from the one she has dedicated her life to fighting.
Therese has a mind that works on many different levels all at once- talking about a funeral , she might burst into laughter because of a mistake she has just caught in one of her underlings work, in her head. In the interrogation chamber, she might suddenly storm out in a temper because, while her eyes have been watching the 'trial'.half her brain has been busy trying to determine whether or not a certain gene could be it and God she just doesn't know.
All that is consistent in her personality is her overarching intelligence and general insanity- otherwise, nothing can be predicted.
Quirks/Mannerisms: bites nails when nervous, eye twitch

Goal(s) in Life: Discover the cause of the freaks, at any cost, and eradicate it for the sake of The Human Race.

Family
General History: When Therese was seven, her parents died. Right in front of her. The blood covered the carpet in front of her, she remembers, and there were dark red flecks of it on her new white shoes. And the murderer changed faces as she watched, from the face of her favorite uncle to the countenances of her mother and father, and then into a blue, scaly monster with pitch black eyes, and then into the spitting image of herself.
Cut to five years later. She's been living with her uncle Gerolf since the incident, but has not been explicitly told what occurred that night, her nightmares revolve around the blue face changer, and what if her uncle actually killed her parents? what if she did? what if they had committed suicide? She confided in one of her school mates about the night, and finally learned the answer: oneven. Mutants.
The rest of her life is dedicated to finding out about these freaks of nature, and how they could be considered 'humans' by some. After she finished school in the Netherlands, Therese moved to the States and joined the MCA, soon becoming one of their top scientist and a spearhead for the organization.

And Segher means, from the Old Norse, 'victory army.'
