Her pale skin couldn't hold a tan if all the tanning experts did their best.
She usually wears a skirt and a cardigan over a button-down shirt, and a pair or flats. Heels make her feet hurt, and they're all much to tall for her lack-of-balance.

General Personality: A book-worm since she was old enough to read, Daphne can’t think of anything more enjoyable than curling up in an armchair with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book. Plays are her second-favorite form of entertainment-- especially if it’s a Shakespeare play.
She never married, never even dated much-- she wasn’t very outgoing, so she didn’t really meet that many people. She had friends in high school, sure, but she hasn’t been in touch with any of them since graduation.
Her teaching style is more like lecturing than anything, though she does ask the class questions from time to time.
Quirks/Mannerisms: She can’t help but correct grammar; she dog-ears her books and writes notes in the margins.

General History: From the time she was a little girl, Daphne knew that what she could do wasn’t normal. When she had a bad dream, the lights in her room would come on, and wake her up. She would then crawl into her parent’s bed and sleep the rest of the night there, but the lights would refuse to turn off in her room until she was over the nightmare.
She went to school like a normal person, and didn’t have any superpower training whatsoever until she was looking for a teaching job and found Markswell’s Academy. Seeing she was a mutant, Markswell gave her a job as a High Academyl literature teacher. Daphne loved it-- she was learning to control her power, and she could take all day about her passion-- what could be better?
She’s now been at Markswell’s academy for twenty years, since the school opened. She had kept the same position the entire time, and never stops loving it.

-General Description: Basically, she can turn on and off the lights, as well as make small concentrated balls of light that can be moved around. Not much to it.
